Tove Blanck is a ceramicist educated at Capellagården on Öland. She runs her own workshop on Kungsholmen in Stockholm and is a member of the arts and crafts cooperative blås & knåda.

“I want my works to trigger the viewer's imagination. A lot of my inspiration comes from old cartoons. There's an aesthetic there that I love - it feels straightforward and universal. Putting illustrations on a three-dimensional canvas adds movement to the image, as you have to move around the object to get the full image. I like to work with strong, bright colors that give an almost comical feel and contrast it with jet black shadows to create drama.” ​
