Cajsa Wessberg's ceramic work brims with creative joy and a sense of spontaneity, as if each piece has emerged from the whims of the moment. We encounter animal heads, perhaps a cat or a friendly fantasy creature, whose large, playful eyes gaze back with a mysterious charm. It’s as if Wessberg, in a moment of creative doodling, has drawn a friend from her own world and given it life through clay. The dotted and speckled patterns evoke a naive experimentation, where each brushstroke is a little adventure and nothing is predetermined.
